The Winter Man retreat is a journey within to connect with and honour our full selves. Held within a sacred space, we will let the land be our teacher, let the spirits be our guide and journey within to find our own innate strength and wisdom.

As we journey into the Winter, we move into the time of the introvert and the hermit, and honour that need for quiet introspection and deep inner journeys. Just as the Earth goes into her winter dream, the plants turn their energies inward, and the animals go for their winter sleep, we too focus in on the dream of our deep self and find that light deep within.

This weekend's journey will take place through sharing circles, meditations and shamanic journeys, sacred crafting, time out on the land as well as Fire Ceremony.

This is a fully inclusive retreat and will be held at The Greenery in Worcestershire, UK. The Greenery is an ecological small holding with full facilities, and is home to a number of rescued animals. As well as working within a sacred space indoors, we will also be working out on the land in the tree circles, orchards, and beside the River Avon, flowing just a few minutes’ walk away.

Accommodation is provided at the Greenery in twin rooms, and we will eat communally.  We will share vegetarian communal meals over the weekend. Please do inform us when booking of any allergies that we need be aware of. This is an alcohol and drug free event.

The cost of the Winter Man Retreat is £285 A non-refundable deposit of £100 is needed as early as possible to secure your booking. (£50 discount for those returning from previous men's spiritual retreats).

This retreat is open to all men from 18 years onward, is LGBT inclusive and, while the practices have roots in spiritual traditions, they are open to anyone of any belief, faith or none.

Timings: Please arrive from 4pm on Friday 30th November so that we may be ready to begin by 7pm. All timings of activities within the retreat will be told to you as we go through the weekend. We will be aiming to finish and be ready to depart on Sunday by 4pm.

A list of what to bring will be provided nearer to the retreat date. As best as we can, we will look to coordinate car sharing to the venue to help keep the environment impact as low as we can.

There are a limited number of concessionary or partial exchange places for assistance with the retreat.

Some feedback from previous Men's Spiritual Retreats

Thank YOU Jonathan for your gentle guidance, your deep humanity, your knowledge and wisdom. It was a truly magical experience which I treasure.

Jonathan facilitated inspired and supported an outstanding weekend that is still resonating with me now and will for sometime. I would high recommend Jonathan’s work. I’m looking forward to continuing my connection with my new band of brothers and Jonathan’s next retreats. Aho!

Jonathan is certainly a remarkable young man and one not to miss if the opportunity to work with him arises. Unlike many facilitators, who direct from the edge of the circle, Jonathan not only innovatively facilitated but fully participated with great honesty & integrity from within the circle, equally as a member, a leader and a man not concerned with expressing his vulnerabilities. This accelerated the collapse of any barriers, self doubt, shyness and resistance to create a warm, inclusive and dynamic environment that bought the best out of everyone, leading to an insightful, positive and lasting healing which still resonates with me several weeks later. Thank you Jonathan for your soulful wisdom.
