The Equinoxes mark the time of the year when day and night are in balance, when the light and dark of the year is in balance, and when we look to restore balance in ourselves.
The Spring and Autumn Equinox Retreats are a perfect space to reconnect with yourself and to reconnect with the turning wheel.
Spring Equinox Retreat - Glastonbury
The Spring Equinox is a time to focus on new beginnings, and as we move from the Winter into the lighter half of the year, to focus on the seeds that you wish to sow for the coming year.
On the Retreat
On this retreat, on the side of the Glastonbury Tor, we will combine ceremony, journeying and drumming to reconnect deeply with ourselves and with the rhythms of the land around us. We will work in circle over this retreat, learning both from our own inner explorations and from the experiences of each person in the circle, as well as time out on the land to learn from the spirits of nature around us.
Accommodation and Meals
We will be staying in a traditional stone farmhouse, which is fully equipped with shower rooms, central heating and a beautiful wood burner stove in the downstairs lounge that will keep the light and warmth for our autumnal evenings. To sleep, those on the retreat will be staying in shared dormitory rooms and each dormitory is fully equipped with bedding and facilities. Twin rooms are available on request with an additional cost. This is a mixed event and open to all genders, and there are separate dormitories for men and women.
The retreat includes delicious vegan and vegetarian meals served throughout the weekend. The meals over the weekend will be focusing on organic, locally sourced and seasonal foods, so that we can connect with the season with our meals as well as our spiritual practices.
